So if I was to change things in WebSphere Commerce for the 8th release, what would it be?

• The BOD commands model needs to die and a spring like mechanism independent of the DB needs to come in. Also complex and bad JET templates needs to go out
• The NVP command layer can be kept, but please deprecate it already for good
• Pursue, detain and imprison whoever came up with the openlaszlo approach to Flash development (top priority)
• Streamline Id correlation for data model updates, no more 5 scripts to get it working (yea… I fell dreaming also today)
• Integration with Liberty and startups in 30 seconds is clearly out of my scope (no miracles)
• And yes… ok, integration with the Sterling stack… what freaks me out is the (wrong) idea that Sterling is good… come on guys… wake up and smell the coffee. XD
• Get the improvements from the last FEP to work ok… now that the Management Center comes with “less sucking” don’t take it out or bug it… pretty please.
